'Deadpool' - Movie Thoughts- Special Post

To officially close off this wonderful but at the same time not so wonderful year, I'm gonna do an honest review of the best movie of the year in my opinion, 'Deadpool'. I'm gonna cut the summary from this one and get straight to the good stuff. As we all know, some of the most anticipated movies of 2016 have turned into the biggests flops of the year. There was one movie in particular however that did not die in 2016, and that was Deadpool. Being a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first Iron Man came out, I think it's safe to say that I do indeed have a soft-spot for the movies created by this company. Deadpool, however, proved to be that one push that the Marvel Universe needed to introduce the very first of many R-rated Marvel/Superhero movies. Skeptical about the whole R-rated thing I decided to follow the movie up to its release. The couple months leading up to Deadpool didn't really see most people taking an interest in the movie but a

'Passengers' Movie Rewiew- Part 2

Okay, now the part where I be completely honest. The movie wasn't all that. I was going into this movie knowing nothing about it other than the actors and that it has something to do with space. At the beginning of the movie I was very drawn to it. I quickly realized that the plot could be constructed and shaped into a masterpiece that'll last a lifetime. I also realized that I was completely wrong. My interest was held by a very thin string, that burst about thirty minutes into the movie when I realized that, damn, this story (If it could be deemed that) was going nowhere, absolutely nowhere. Just when all hope was lost, a plot twist was born. So, he was gonna kill a poor girl because he's a lonely little man? Aparently so. Seeing that the most entertaining thing about this movie was Arthur the android, I sat back and chomped on my popcorn (Which was only slightly better than the movie). However, I will say that even though the movie was not impressing me so far it was s

'Passangers' Movie Review

So, here it goes. This will be my first post to this new blog and it's centred around the movie Passangers. How about we get straight into it? Let's go.   Ok, so, the basic summary given. In hopes of finding a new life, 5,000 passengers board a flight, the Starship Avalon, that is allegedly supposed to be heading for a new home planet aka. Homestead II. The passengers are put into "hibernation" by the use of special pods for 120 in which they will experience no medical complication and will also avoid death. Thirty years into the flight a meteor penetrated what I believe was supposed to be a protective barrier or forcefield around the ship and caused a number of system failures. One extremely unlucky individual by the name of Jim Preston, a mechanic, is affected by these failures when his pod 'shuts down'. Upon finding no-one beside himself on the ship, Jim does some investigative work and discovers that he has been woken up too early. He then goes on to
